We understand that producing ethical fashion can be complex. Below you’ll find answers to our most frequently asked questions. If you need more details or would like to discuss your project, please make an enquiry or contact us.

How do you prepare a costing?

We prefer to create a costing from an actual sample. We produce a sample that accurately reflects your design, which allows us to gauge the required time and resources—ensuring you receive a precise production cost estimate.

What do you need to execute embroidery or printing?

  • For Printing: We require a PDF file containing accurate dimensions and Pantone color references.
  • For Embroidery: We need both a PDF file with the details and, if possible, a physical sample.

Do you work from digital tech packs or actual products?

We can work from digital tech packs, but having a physical product or sample is highly recommended for maximum accuracy. (See our Sampling Procedure for more details.)

Can you produce T-shirts or Jerseys?

Currently, our focus is on woven fabrics, so we do not produce T-shirts or jerseys. However, we plan to include T-shirt production in the near future.

Which shipping company do you recommend?

We recommend setting up a business account with DHL for an economical and efficient shipping process.

Have you worked with Australian clients?

Yes, we have successfully exported to Australia without any difficulties.

Do you provide print and embroidery facilities?

We do not offer in-house print or embroidery services. However, we can connect you with ethical, Fair Trade-approved providers within India. A small service charge of 5% applies for coordination.

Do you offer grading facilities?

Yes, we offer grading services. We require client approval of grading samples before beginning the full sampling process.

Are you able to source woven fabrics?

We typically do not source fabrics ourselves. We recommend using organic or fair-trade cotton, recycled materials, or other ethically produced fabrics. Clients often source materials from:

  • Chetna Community (Fair Trade Cotton)
  • Jharcraft (Fair-Trade Organic Silks)
  • Suppliers listed in the Ethical Fashion Forum Directory

Fabric negotiations and payments are handled directly with the supplier.

Which fabrics do you work with?

We specialize in woven fabrics of various weights, including cotton, linen, silk, chiffon, wool, and some heavier-weight jerseys.

What is the typical turnaround time on an order?

Turnaround time depends on design complexity, order quantity, and shipping logistics. Here are some general guidelines (starting after all required materials and trims are received post-sampling):

    • Simple/Basic Designs (Cotton Fabric), MOQ of 250 Units: Approximately 3–4 weeks.
    • Complex Designs (Silk or Difficult Fabrics), MOQ of 250 Units: Approximately 6–8 weeks.

What is your minimum order quantity (MOQ)?

The MOQ varies by product. Please fill out our Enquiry Form with your order details, and we will assess your needs accordingly.

What are the payment terms for production orders?

A 60% advance payment is required before production starts. This advance can be made via bank transfer.

What are the payment terms for sampling?

You will be billed for the total time taken to develop the final approved sample. Payments can be made via bank transfer.

What is your procedure for sampling?

  • Submit Your Pattern/Product & Specifications: Please send your pattern, required materials, and full specifications to our Cut-Make-Trim (CMT) department.
  • Sample Creation: We will create two samples—one will be sent back to you for approval while the other remains at our facility for reference.
  • Client Approval: Once you approve the sample, production will begin.
  • Sample Invoicing: You will be invoiced for the two samples, though one approved sample can count toward your production batch.
